When you travel the halls of your memory, who do you remember as your most influential teachers? How did these teachers influence your life and change it for the better? Great teachers spark more than math, literature, or science in your life. They spark something else as well, something deeper and long-lasting that stays with you. As an individual living your life, you have another teacher you may not have touched on in your memory. That teacher is you! When you’re trying to get healthy and support your body and mind better, your inner teacher is key toward achieving what you want.
These are all valid reasons for some of our tous les abdos problems. These issues are being addressed by many at government, corporate and community levels. Hopefully we are on the right track to improving them with programs, education and awareness. These issues, while causing many problems are not causing all of the damage.
That is not all we need to do. We need to take action on health. The care part of the healthcare is what we are spending all of our money on. We are spending countless dollars on treatments, medications and procedures to care for conditions. We are using more and more care each year. That is why our healthcare costs have gone up so much and continue to do so. We are using more and more expensive services that are needed to get us back to health or allow us to live with poor health.
None of us are perfect… we’re all busy, we all have different daily priorities- but sometimes we all need a kick in the pants to get us to wake up. Set the pace- be an example to the other women in your life. This is the same reason for the many programs offered to partner women to have annual mammograms. They were designed to help women encourage and motivate each other. That is also what healthcare is about- CARE and motivation.
The same applies to exercise. It is now well understood that maintaining a good exercise regime throughout life reduces your risk factors for a whole range of unpleasant, and often fatal, diseases and conditions. The range of conditions which, according to the research, can or may be prevented, or at least the risk of thereof can be reduced, is enormous.
When put that way, it is easy to think that wellness is not important because it comes down to individual choices. WRONG. Wellness is important because health comes to down to individual choices. Health is nothing more than the options left by choices made on a day to day basis.
Proper diet does a lot for the body and it’s no wonder it has effects on dental health. Our teeth are made of calcium and so they require lots of calcium in order to develop properly. They also need sturdy bones to stick them in place. Strong bones can only be archived through adequate calcium. Proper nutrition ought to include adequate calcium to take good care of the teeth. Also, proper nutrition encompass being watchful about how much snacks, sugary foods, and sodas you consume as they inflict tooth decay.
It’s very exciting to talk about these principles of health, for you will realize which one of them is lacking in your life. And then it’ll be up to you to go work on these things. If you’re not eating enough whole foods, or drinking enough water, if you’re not getting out and enjoying enough fresh air in your life, open your house up and let the air just breeze right through your house. Get out in the sunshine and enjoy that. Go for a walk, enjoy your rest time, allow your brain to regenerate and recuperate. Put enough effort into relationships and passion and you’ll feel the fulfilment of life right through your whole being.
